idphoto.co.nz was established late 2016 and was developed to align with the gradual popularized New Zealand passport renewal system. Don’t want to get ripped off by traditional photo shops? With idphoto.co.nz we offer you the same product but at a much lower cost and easier way for you to get what you need. Simply select the type of online application or paper application and upload your own picture. Your passport photo is then downloadable from your personal account.

Terms and Conditions

This website is the property of IDPhoto (hereinafter referred to as 'provider',’our’). By using this website you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined in the following. If you disagree to these terms and conditions, you should refrain from using the website. Provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its own discretion or to update them without prior notice. We therefore recommend that you check these terms and conditions regularly for changes or updates.
1. Changes, information and orders
1.1 All offers by the provider are free of obligations, and provider expressly reserves the right to change offers, products and prices.
1.2 Information, images, and any verbal messages, messages by phone, text messages or emails, as well as any estimates relating to all offers and products are always given with the greatest possible accuracy. Provider does, however, not guarantee that all offers and products are in line with the given information.
1.3 An order is established with IDPhoto the moment the you placed the payment. After IDPhoto receives your order, you will receive a confirmation email from IDPhoto of your order placement. If you do not receive the confirmation email of an order you placed, then please contact IDPhoto before you attempt to place another order for the same product.
1.4 No cancelation of the order after order.
1.5 Changes to address after order placement are subjected to extra fees for reposting.
2. Pricing and payments
2.1 Listed prices for offers and products are in NZ ($) and GST inclusive.
2.2 IDPhoto may vary the price of its products at any time. After the user has placed the order, the price will not be altered.
2.3 The Buyer has to pay the listed price to IDPhoto after placement of order.
2.4 The Buyer has to pay the additional fees for the request of reposting their physical photos.
3. Delivery of product
3.1 The product is uploaded electronically to the Buyer’s account, or by post to the delivery address (limited in New Zealand) submitted by the Buyer.
3.2 Digital form photo will be submitted to the Buyer’s account and email to their given email address which the Buyer can download.
3.3 Physical printouts of the passport photos are delivered by post. Delivery times are determined based on the address location and the postal service.
4. Complaints and third-party requirements/conditions
4.1 Complaints due to flaws in the order are to be made by contacting IDPhoto’s service centre within 7 working days upon receiving the product.
4.2 In case it has been demonstrated that the product is damaged during delivery, the provider will make the delivery again.
5. Refund and replace
5.1 IDPhoto products are not entitled for a refund after the product has been delivered to the Buyer.
5.2 Whether you are eligible for a refund are verified by our staff members from our service centre.
5.3 Replacement of IDPhoto products after delivery are entitled to products that did not meet to the standard of passport photos and was rejected by the government officials.
5.4 After Buyer has received IDPhoto’s product and altered in anyway, the product is not entitled for any complaint, refund or replacement.
5.5 IDPhoto is not responsible for reposting missing postages delivered by local service company.
6. Liability
6.1 Any liability for possible damage due to access to and use of this website is expressly excluded by
the provider. There is also no guarantee that this website will work error-free and uninterrupted.
Although the provider goes to great lengths to keep the contents of this website as up to date and
complete as possible, he cannot guarantee the accuracy, validity, completeness or up-to-dateness of
the offers, products and information published on this website or linked to on this website. Provider
does not accept any liability in relation to that.
6.2 Provider is not liable for misunderstandings, mutilations, delays or faults in the transmission of
order details and messages due to the use of the Internet or any other means of communication in
the traffic between you and the provider, or between the provider and third parties, insofar as it is
related to the relation between you and the provider, unless and insofar as there is intent or gross
negligence on the part of the provider.

IDPhoto collects different types of personally identifiable information in order to be able to provide its services to you. Users provide all such information voluntarily through order form and profile.
How does IDPhoto use the information it collects?
IDPhoto uses all collected information primarily for provisioning the services you have ordered. We may also use your information for sending periodic emails announcing important account services, order information, digital file, promotional activities, etc. You can decide NOT to receive such emails by replying to any of them with "Unsubscribe" in the subject. We may also use your information to send you SMS notifications if necessary. User information is also used for improving IDPhoto's business processes to make your overall user experience more rewarding. Your information can also be used for resolving ownership and other disputes and enforcing agreements between you and IDPhoto.
Does IDPhoto disclose users' information to third parties?
All personal information collected by IDPhoto is treated as strictly confidential. IDPhoto does not sell or rent your Personal Information to third parties. We may disclose User's personal information if required by law. We may disclose part of users' personal information to our business partners when this is required in order to provide the services you have ordered. For example: your credit card information may be provided for payment confirmation and verification to the partnering entity involved in processing your payment; your address information may be provided for PostShop delivery service, etc.
What does IDPhoto do to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of users information?
We guarantee that we strictly apply all industry standard security measures to protect your personal information. Such measures include without limitation: data encryption, password protected access to users' personal information, limited access to the sensitive data, encrypted transfer of sensitive data submitted by the user through IDPhoto's order forms, login forms etc. There may be security and privacy limitations, which are beyond IDPhoto's control. By choosing to provide personal information to IDPhoto you understand and agree that the security, integrity and privacy of your information cannot be 100% guaranteed.

Q:What is RTP file (Ready to Print) and how to use it?
A:If you are urgently in need of your physical ID photos and still have not receive your physical photo postage, then this is an alternative for you to quickly obtain your physical prints.
With RTP file (6 in 1 digital file/4 in 1 digital file) you can obtain individual ID prints by saving the digital file in an USB and bring it to local photo labs to print on 6-inch x 4-inch standard print with glossy finish and cut out the amount of ID photos you require.
Q:What is digital photo file?
A:The digital file you will receive is made specifically for online application requirements provided by government officials. You can download the digital file from your email or user account and upload to the online passport application page. Keeping in mind that the digital file is only valid for 6 months for passport applications.
Q:What are physical printouts?
A:Physical photos are ready to use copies of your ID photo. We post them to your supplied New Zealand residential address however time of delivery might be delayed by delivery service company. Kind reminder: If you need your physical photos urgently, we recommend you to use the RTP (Ready to Print) file in your email.
Q:Why did I not receive my confirmation email?
A:Please allow a few minutes of processing time after you have place an order with us. If you did not receive emails from IDPhoto, please check your junk mail/spam folder.

Q: Why have I not received my digital file(s)?
A: If you have not receive your digital file(s), please check your spam or junk mail folder.
If you still don’t see the email, please request that another email with your digital file(s) attached be sent to you. Send us the request at info@idphoto.co.nz.
Q:Why did I not receive my physical prints?
A:The delivery of physical prints may be delayed by local delivery service please allow at least 3-5 working days for your postage to arrive. If you did not receive physical prints postage after this time, contact us on info@idphoto.co.nz.
Q:Can I cancel my order or get a refund?
A:Once you have placed your order and your payment has been processed you cannot cancel your order as we have already begun to process your order. All our ordering process are done so on a ‘no refund, return or cancellation’ basis. You must agree to these conditions when you place an order with us. Please ensure all your details are correct at the time of order placement so no problems arise.
Q:Can I make changes to my postage address?
A:If you have placed an order and have filled the wrong address you may request to change the address by contacting us on 021-954-088 or info@idphoto.co.nz.
Q:How to get your physical prints outs asap?
A:If you do not want to wait for physical prints outs to be posted to your address and risk the delay from local delivery services, you can use our RTP file that you will receive in 48 hours after placing order.
